HBL-100細胞是由E·V·Gaffney及其同事從(cong) 一位沒有乳癌家族史的供者乳汁中建立的一株上皮細胞；培養(yang) 出來的HBL-100細胞染色體(ti) 組型在第7代時就不正常。電鏡照片顯示，HBL-100細胞內(nei) 有微絲(si) 、張力原纖維和橋粒。Southern轉移表明，HBL-100細胞有整合型SV40病毒基因，不可以當作正常細胞。
